This is it.... The Move

Once upon a time, in what seems to have been a long long time ago (but in reality was a few months ago), Daddy Soapmaker told me that the moment he had been waiting for ever since he started working had arrived. He was going to be given a new assignment. Our family would be relocating... to Singapore.

Now this did not catch us by surprise. The world is shrinking. Global citizens are increasingly the norm, not the exception. It was actually just a matter of time before it (the move) happened. Our family had been preparing for it -- from my career choices and extra curricular activities to choosing Little Man’s preschool to giving our reliable household angel a head’s up. It was our hope that with enough preparation and proper alignment, the transplanting of our roots would be as seamless and painless as possible, particularly for our Little Man.
