Josh in the House

I've been struggling with this topic for the longest time ever since I found out that tickets to Josh Groban's concert is being sold from P3,000 to P25,000. Wow. In a country where the daily minimum wage is approx. P350 or approx $8, it is almost obscene. With the impressive list of sponsors which have signed up wishing to be associated with this rising pop star, you'd think that the producers would have brought the ticket prices done to make him more accessible to the people who are touched by his music. I guess at the end of the day, it still is all about the money. I can't help being so disappointed, especially after reading all the glowing articles which cite his humility and willingness to help with various causes. Nikka said it all in her post.

On a separate topic. Beyonce is coming to town. Ticket range from P600 to P20,000. Seems steep at first until you find out that VIP seats are P5,000. Now, all you need to do is check the weather channel to see if it will rain.
